Job summary

Smyths Toys seeks Sales Assistants for temporary contracts in our stores. The role pays £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11.00 per hour for under 21. You’ll deliver high levels of customer service, identify customer needs, and work in a fast-paced team.

The position supports store operations, including tills, stock replenishment, and pricing changes. Flexible, customer-oriented candidates with retail exposure across areas like Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, or Warehouse are

• Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential.
• Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, Backdoor/Warehouse.
• Stores open 7 days a week requiring flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team.
• Keep the store clean and tidy.
• Pack shelves and merchandise.
