Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company Ltd in Richmond invites applications for a part-time Sales Assistant to join our store team. The role covers 16 hours across 4 days, including weekends and possible early mornings, with training provided.

You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, greet customers, and assist with stock, deliveries and product knowledge to maximise sales and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our EPOS till system
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional 3 recruits to the sales assistant team in our store at Richmond.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation
