Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company Ltd is seeking a Sales Assistant for our Selby store. The role is 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota. Some early mornings may be required, with induction and training provided.

Responsibilities include delivering high levels of customer service, maintaining store standards, greeting customers, processing sales on the Epos till, and staying informed about products. A pro rata annual leave and staff discount are offered after induction.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work on weekends and follow a rota
• Attention to visual merchandising and store presentation

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
