Sales Assistant

Description

A growing fashion and wholesale brand is seeking a Sales Assistant to support daily sales operations, showroom activities, and account management. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within the fashion industry.

The Sales Assistant will work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order flow, strong client communication, and successful showroom and trade show execution.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain daily order accuracy by reviewing order status reports
• Manage order maintenance, issue resolution, and reconciliation with customer service and accounts
• Facilitate return authorizations (RA) and ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure on-time delivery of orders
• Communicate with sales reps, buyers, and customer service regarding purchase order issues
• Prepare and organize samples for meetings and showroom appointments
• Assist in preparing materials for management meetings and market appointments
• Create and organize marketing materials and line sheets for showroom use
• Support showroom setup and maintenance before, during, and after line openings
• Assist with trade show preparation and travel as needed
• Manage product setup within NuORDER or similar systems
• Coordinate influencer gifting and track related materials
• Support special projects and additional tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field
• Internship or prior experience in fashion, sales, or wholesale is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Simparel or SAP is a plus)
• Experience with NuORDER and/or JOOR is a plus
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow up consistently
