Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven success in outside sales, B2C sales, or territory management.
• Knowledge of plant health care programs and how to effectively sell them.
• ISA Certified Arborist credential is preferred.
• Maryland Licensed Tree Expert credential is preferred.
• Pesticide applicator license for VA, MD, or DC is preferred.
• Elite persuasion, negotiation and closing skills for affluent clients.
• CRM experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Territory domination in high-end Northern VA neighborhoods with marketing support.

We are seeking a top-tier Sales Arborist to take ownership of and aggressively grow our highly lucrative Northern Virginia (NoVA) territory, while partnering with our other sales arborist who will be handling our Maryland and Washington, DC territories. This is a golden opportunity to sell high-value, comprehensive tree and plant health care solutions to affluent homeowners who value unparalleled quality.

The Role

The Arborist Account Manager is a year-round career built on expert territory management and relationship building. You will be the face of the "Joshua Tree Experience" throughout Northern Virginia, evaluating properties and closing high-ticket contracts.

Core Responsibilities

• Territory Domination: Actively prospect, generate referrals, and capture new business in high-end Northern VA neighborhoods. The company will support you with active marketing campaigns and digital lead generation sources.
• Consultative Selling: Educate clients and leverage relationship-based sales techniques to close premium service agreements.
• Estimating & Proposing: Conduct precise site inspections, determine accurate job costs, and deliver professional proposals.
• Client Experience: Ensure 100% satisfaction through prompt post-job follow-ups, driving long-term retention.
• Operational Partnership: Collaborate with office staff and effectively communicate job scopes to production crews.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Model our core values: Reliable, Team Player, Improve & Adapt, and Find a Way.

• Tech-savvy with basic computer systems (CRM experience is a major plus).
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the flexibility to meet client schedules.

Compensation And Benefits

• The position will be base salary + commission, structured in a way that a good sales professional can make $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
