Job summary

Diversified Heat Transfer Inc. is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to bridge engineering, sales and marketing while guiding customers through product selections and system solutions in HVAC/thermal markets. The role emphasizes delivering tailored technical proposals, leading training sessions, and supporting field reps with design drawings and marketing content.

Occasional travel up to 10% is expected. You will collaborate across departments and visit customer sites for startup and training,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in sales engineering / applications engineering / technical customer support (HVAC/thermal).
• Experience delivering technical presentations and training sessions.
• Proficient with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and data to recommend DHT products and system solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, submittals and project documentation.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Lead technical training sessions, bootcamps, and product education for reps, OEMs and sales staff.
• Prepare and revise sales design drawings.
• Collaborate with marketing to create technical content and sales tools.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align engineering, sales, operations and support.
• Assist with trade shows, webinars and customer-facing events.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings and standards.
• Occasional site visits for startup, troubleshooting and training.
