• Gather engineering data for specific projects and prepare accurate pricing and quotes.
• Provide technical support and single-point contact for project issues.
• Review drawings and designs, and release projects for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with customers, sales, and internal departments to manage changes.

Job description

• Assist sales representatives in assessing the potential ability to meet customer needs.
• Gather engineering data for specific projects.
• Provide technical support and information to company representatives and customers.
• Prepare accurate customer project pricing and sales quotations.
• Serve as the single-source customer contact for project issues and activities.
• Review engineering drawings, analyze designs, and retrieve information to complete drawings, layouts, or designs.
• Create and ensure accuracy of project buyout component lists.
• Release projects for manufacturing and monitor equipment in production.
• Manage contractual modifications to ensure project profitability.
• Process change-order requests without affecting production or scheduled ship dates.
• Coordinate work with customers, sales representatives, the sales manager, and applicable company departments.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelors Degree in Engineering, but not required.
• Preferred experience in Sales – minimum 3 years.
• Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office.
• Good Knowledge of computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD/Inventor.
• Good Knowledge and experience in blueprint and technical document review.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn specific inhouse and third-party engineering design and selection software programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
• Ability to periodically visit the manufacturing facility and work around seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
