Job summary

Jobtailor in Tempe, AZ is seeking an entry-level Engineering Project Associate to support cross-functional teams in delivering electromechanical systems on time and within budget. You will help plan and track schedules, assist with design, testing, and documentation, analyze data, and communicate findings to stakeholders while growing your technical knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics).
  • 0 to 1 year of engineering experience, including internships, co-op assignments, or academic project experience.
  • U.S. Person status: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or ability to obtain an export authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering project execution to achieve technical, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, risk tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Contribute to the design, development, integration, testing, and validation of electromechanical systems.
  • Support requirements analysis and verification activities.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, analyses, and design records.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate test data and technical findings to project stakeholders.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Support hardware builds, qualification testing, and product validation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company processes.
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality, and program management teams.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners on project deliverables and schedules.
  • Develop technical knowledge and assume increasing responsibility as experience grows.
