The State of Wisconsin’s Department of Corrections, Bureau of Correctional Enterprises in Madison, seeks a Sales and Marketing Specialist to provide customer service and support BCE operations. The role promotes BCE wood and metal furniture and related products to public and nonprofit buyers while learning and using ERP and CRM systems for orders and customer data.

The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill a Sales and Marketing Specialist position. This position is based out of Bureau of Correctional Enterprises in Madison, WI.
This position provides customer service to customers, and miscellaneous administrative support to BCE management staff. In addition, this position performs a variety of other inside sales duties including the representation and promotion of BCE wood and metal furniture, upholstered seating and other products for sale to tax supported and tax-exempt (non-profit) agencies and organizations. This position is also responsible for learning current and new enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems including entering complex furniture orders, maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) software and data, and conducting and/or assisting in the research, design, development and marketing of new and existing products.
This position is in pay schedule/range 07-04 with a starting salary of $21.70/hour - $35.76/hour plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.

This position has the flexibility of a hybrid in-office and remote work schedule.
