Job summary

CBRE is seeking an early-career Sales Analyst to join the Chicago Occupier Advisory team. You will support the sales leadership, brokers, and marketing through accurate pipelines, dashboards, and market analyses.

You will work cross-functionally to improve data quality, drive business development, and enable technology adoption across the market, positioning CBRE for client success and growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 1–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, sales operations, research, business analytics, financial services, or related field.
• Analytical mindset with comfort working with data, reports, metrics, dashboards, and business trends.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professionals at varying seniority.
• Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate percentages and other financial calculations.
• Poise, maturity, and ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the market database of client pursuits and brokerage team pipelines; track progress and issue updates to leadership.
• Ensure business plans, pipeline reports, prospecting strategies, and dashboards are accurate and delivered on time.
• Prepare materials and participate in market meetings and broker debriefs to support the sales process.
• Partner with Research and Marketing to support business development reports and materials.
• Act as the local Salesforce expert, aiding brokers and management in platform utilization.
• Learn and drive adoption of other broker technology tools and systems.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and confirm understanding.
