About The Role

CBRE is seeking a

CBRE is seeking a Sales Analyst to join our high-performing Chicago Occupier Advisory team, supporting one of CBRE’s largest and most dynamic U.S. markets. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional who is analytical, highly organized, relationship-driven, and driven to grow in commercial real estate. You will partner with the sales management team and brokerage professionals to support the business and our managed brokerage operating model. In this role, you will sit at the center of the business — partnering with sales leadership, brokers, Research, Marketing, Operations, and support teams to help drive business development, pipeline visibility, data quality, and technology adoption across the market. You will gain broad exposure to a significantly sized team and broker roster, including senior producers and Vice Chairmen, while supporting client pursuits across industries such as healthcare, life sciences, technology, legal, and other major occupier sectors. This is not a traditional heads-down analyst role. The right person will enjoy working with data and dashboards, but will also thrive in a highly interactive, fast-paced environment where communication, poise, curiosity, follow-through, and relationship-building are essential. This job is part of the Sales Management function.

  • Prepare materials and engage in market meetings and broker debriefs to support the sales process.

  • Partner with Research and Marketing teams to support business development reports and materials.

  • Act as the local Salesforce expert, assisting brokers, support staff, and management in the full utilization of the platform.

  • Learn, support, and drive the adoption of other broker technology tools and systems.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Exchange straightforward and concise information, asks questions and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to interact with brokers and leaders at varying levels of seniority.

  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

  • Poise, maturity, and the ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders through responsiveness, judgment, and clear communication.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong interest in commercial real estate, sales operations, business analytics, financial services, or broker-facing advisory work.

  • Salesforce or CRM experience.

  • Prior experience in commercial real estate, sales operations, research, business analytics, financial services, or sales support.

  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, target lists, or pipeline tracking materials.

  • Comfort learning new technology platforms and helping others adopt tools and processes.
