Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a data analytics professional to build dashboards and reports that drive insights for sales and distribution. You will partner with Senior Analysts and Sales to capture requirements and measure dashboard success.

Ideal candidates hold a BS with 4–6 years' experience, strong SQL and Excel skills, and familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, and CRMA within financial services. Master’s or MBA is a plus, and life-insurance domain experience is valued.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Understanding of financial services, preferably insurance.
• Experience building reports and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, CRMA, etc.
• Experience manipulating data in Excel.
• Metrics-based storytelling.
• Interest in learning distribution and analytical tools such as Calendly, AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, and CRMA.
• Master's degree in statistics, data science, analytics, or MBA is a plus.
• Prior experience on a sales desk or in life insurance is a plus.
• Experience with life insurance and annuity products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reports that promote appropriate insights and actions.
• Develop strategic, innovative solutions to customer needs.
• Collaborate with Senior Analysts, Sales, and Sales Leadership to intake reporting requirements and measure success of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Model compensation plan adjustments to align plans with business goals.
• Deploy AI within reporting and analytics to help move distribution forward.
• Work closely with sales partners to uncover opportunities and determine successes.
• Provide tools and insights for sales management and strategic accounts.
