Job summary

LDK Talent Solutions is seeking a Sales Analyst for our Northern NJ office, partnering with the Sales team to drive insights for Costco and other key accounts. The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced CPG environment.

The successful candidate is highly organized, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable working with syndicated data and visualization tools to inform strategic decisions and promotional plans.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a sales analyst, category analyst, or related role within CPG, food & beverage, or retail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling); PowerPoint experience required
• Experience working with syndicated data platforms (IRI/Circana, Nielsen, or SPINS)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business stories
• Experience supporting major retail accounts a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the Head of Sales to support day-to-day analytical and operational needs for a key strategic account.
• Partner with broker partners and National Account Managers across new item setup, promotional planning, performance management, customer meetings, and account priorities.
• Build and maintain weekly sales reporting, POS trackers, account scorecards, dashboards, and business performance reports.
• Analyze syndicated data (Circana/IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) to identify market trends, competitive activity, distribution, velocity, and promotional performance.
• Prepare customer-facing presentations, line reviews, business reviews, sell-in materials, and promotional recaps.
• Monitor account and SKU performance against targets, proactively identifying risks, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Provide retailer-specific analysis, data pulls, and insights to support strategic decision-making and commercial planning.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Category Management, Forecasting, and Trade Spend teams to ensure alignment on account priorities.
• Support new item submissions, promotional planning, and business planning initiatives across key national and grocery accounts.
