Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Neighborhood Grocery Sales Analyst to join the Sales Analytics team. You’ll collaborate with Customer Account Managers, analyze data, generate insights, and support 4P reporting to drive category growth for Nestlé brands across Arlington, Solon, or other field offices.

Ideal candidates have 18+ months in retail sales analytics, a Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel skills; experience with Circana/Nielsen is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum of 18 months of experience in retail sales or a related sales environment with a focus on sales reporting and analytics.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel (Xlookups, pivots, etc.)
Intermediate skill in AI (Copilot, Claude, etc.) and applications with AI in analytics
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time-management abilities
Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of 4P sales fundamentals

Responsibilities

Proactively generate actionable insights that support the current business needs, inform strategic decisions, and drive profitable brand and category performance.
Provide analytical recommendations and identify opportunities through syndicated data sources.
Exhibit category expertise by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the category and the broader business landscape.
Utilize data visualization and storytelling to help build sales presentations.
Build & maintain 4P reporting & tools essential to the day-to-day operation of Nestlé’s customer account teams.
Pull data for ad hoc analysis from various sources including syndicated data, retailer platforms, and internal resources.
