Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Sales Agronomist in Moses Lake, WA to sell crop inputs, maintain territory programs, and meet annual sales goals. You will interpret soil analyses, respond to technical inquiries, and support marketing with trials and agronomic insights.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, familiarity with ag chemicals, and a valid driver’s license. PCA license or CCA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an agriculturally based program.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry and agricultural chemicals.
• PCA License is required (for CA positions) or CCA certification a plus, member in good standing, or ability to test.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Sell company products and services.
• Maintain sales programs within assigned territory/accounts.
• Responsible for meeting annual sales goals.
• Monitor competitive activity and trends.
• Knowledge of product features, benefits, and use.
• Provide training to employees, as needed.
• Initiate trials that will support marketing efforts.
• Interpret soil, tissue, and water analysis.
• Research and respond to technical inquiries.
• Develop proprietary fertilizer formulations.
• Publish and distribute periodic summaries of agronomic observations and research.
• Maintain and build customer contacts.
