Nutrien Ag Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Sales Agronomist - Crop Consultant for the San Marcos, CA area. You will sell our crop inputs, maintain territory programs, and strive to meet annual sales goals while leveraging agronomic expertise to support customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural field and PCA license (or ability to test). A valid driver’s license is mandatory, and base pay ranges from market levels with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an agriculturally based program.
• PCA license is required, or ability to test for credentials.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the agriculture industry.

Responsabilités

• Sell company products and services.
• Maintain sales programs within territory/accounts.
• Meet annual sales goals.
• Monitor competitive activity and trends.
• Provide training to employees, as needed.
• Initiate trials to support marketing efforts.
• Interpret soil, tissue, and water analysis.
• Respond to technical inquiries.
• Develop proprietary fertilizer formulations.
• Publish agronomic summaries and research.
• Maintain and build customer contacts.
