Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in administrative or sales support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales data tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Experience in food production, CPG, or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares presentations, customer materials, and sales documentation to support sales execution.
  • Supports pricing updates, contract documentation, and bid submission inputs.
  • Manages order-related administrative tasks and tracks issue resolution across internal teams.
  • Maintains accurate customer, pricing, and contract data within CRM and internal systems.
  • Generates recurring reports (sales performance, inventory, customer activity) and supports basic analytics.
  • Identifies data discrepancies and supports data cleanup and reporting standardization efforts.
  • Manages calendars, meetings, and logistics for sales leadership; prepares agendas and tracks follow-ups.
  • Handles documentation, approvals, and internal coordination requests across functions.
  • Standardizes templates (reports, presentations, contracts) to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Improves workflow efficiency by organizing shared files and supporting process optimization.
  • Regularly works onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across teams.

Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. Summary

The Sales Administrator delivers high-quality administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring efficient execution of core sales processes, accurate data management, and seamless day-to-day operations. This role enables sales leaders to focus on revenue growth and customer engagement.

Essential Functions

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly pay rate range of $25 to $34 per hour.

Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. For full-time employees, the initial PTO benefit starts at 20 days per year, adjusted commensurate with relevant experience, front loaded on the first of the year, initially prorated quarterly based on hire date. Commuter programs are also available.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow through on tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement efforts
Work Ability Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment regularly
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds

This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
