Job summary

A&K Railroad Materials, Inc. is seeking a driven Sales Administrative Assistant in Salt Lake City. The role supports inside and outside sales, helping grow sales velocity and customer satisfaction through hands-on learning of track materials business.

You will manage customer calls, data entry, order tracking, CRM, travel arrangements, quotations, and collaboration with sales staff. This position offers training and advancement within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented experience preferred.
• 1–3 years administrative office experience; preferably in a Sales environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering and directing customer calls.
• Handle data entry into enterprise system including quote entry, order entry, and processing.
• Order tracking and communicating shipping information and status with customers.
• CRM data entry and management.
• Arrange travel for Salt Lake City sales staff and meeting agendas.
• Assist with customer complaints, documentation, and resolutions.
• Prepare quotations using in-house technology.
• Learn product line and inventory.
• Assess, collect, and report competitive information.
• Collaborate with outside sales personnel on customer needs and opportunities.
