OVERVIEW:

We’re on the hunt for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our dynamic independent pet sales team in Texas! Ideal candidate would live within the major metro cities such as Dallas, Houston, or Austin. Our most successful team members are self-starters with winning mindsets, adeptly managing multiple accounts to achieve ambitious goals.

In this pivotal role, you’ll get to completely own your territory - strengthening business with existing accounts and forging valuable new relationships to drive growth. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to sell all Antelope brands, including Bocce’s Bakery, Diggin’ Your Dog / Super Snouts, Ark Naturals, and My Perfect Pet.

Travel is required for field coverage, including trade shows and sales meetings, which will involve overnight stays. If you're ready to make an impact in the pet industry, we want to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Cultivate and expand relationships with both new and existing accounts.
  2. Drive lead generation, prospecting, qualification, and closing of potential new customers.
  3. Educate prospects on the value of all Antelope products and services through compelling pitches and trainings.
  4. Leverage provided data and CRM tools to enhance sales strategies and pinpoint growth opportunities.
  5. Effectively manage within a designated trade budget.
  6. Collaborate with team members and support each other to win.
  7. Adapt and lend support wherever needed as Antelope continues to grow!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. At least 1 year of experience; prior sales experience a plus.
  3. An energetic and outgoing personality driven by a passion for pets.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster genuine connections.
  5. Ability to engage and captivate audiences with compelling pitches.
  6. Skilled multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently meets goals.
  7. Confident decision-maker with a knack for exercising independent judgment.
  8. Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  9. A positive, can-do attitude that energizes those around you.
  10. Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel monthly to connect with clients.
  11. Must love dogs or cats (& treats!).
