Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (REMOTE – must live in Texas)

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 + bonus

*Position is REMOTE, but must live in TEXAS*

Our client, a Top 50 Property & Casualty Insurance Broker, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. This position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area; however, it is REMOTE (must reside in TX). The ideal candidate will have experience managing a middle market & large line, multimillion-dollar book of business, handling pre & post renewal cycles, and interacting with clients daily to focus on retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by addressing their needs, including underwriting or policy issues.
  • Manage daily account activities: processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, certificates, premium breakdowns, auto ID cards, policy changes, reviewing forms, providing coverage comparisons, loss analysis, and responding to coverage questions.
  • Track client account balances and coordinate with accounting for prompt payments.
  • Set up new and renewal policies.
  • Lead multiple client teams in delivering services, planning, and executing client solutions.
  • Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies, including marketing renewal business.
  • Monitor accounts and communicate account activity.
  • Build relationships with carriers through account interactions.
  • Manage the renewal process: review loss info, obtain updates, handle applications, remarket, negotiate renewal pricing, and prepare proposals and binders.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and ask for referrals.
  • Market renewals and new business, collaborating with marketing.
  • Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Perform loss/claim analysis and summaries.
  • Document client interactions and information.
  • Share coverage and market insights with colleagues.
  • Use EPIC system effectively to maintain accurate data and documents.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in Texas.
  • Active Property & Casualty license (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and skills.
