Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring a Sales Account Manager for our San Diego, CA location. In this role you will grow our business with new and existing customers by aligning their needs with our broad product portfolio and global distribution network.

You will conduct consultative selling, prospect for new opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service, safe and innovative solutions. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience with proven success in building relationships and hitting targets.
• Self-directed, outcome-focused, and proactive in driving results.
• Strong listening, curiosity, and ability to understand customer needs and win business.
• Ability to plan and conduct effective sales calls, present persuasively, handle objections, negotiate, and close deals.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling: cultivate relationships and grow accounts.
• Sales prospecting: identify new opportunities and expand the territory.
