We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive with a proven track record in sales training or adjacent markets to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong prospecting skills, excellent presentation abilities, and the ability to drive new and existing business opportunities from initial contact to closing deals with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, Engage, and Close Sales: Actively manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, targeting mid-market and enterprise-level clients.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with clients to understand their business challenges and align our sales training solutions with their goals.
- Solution Selling: Present our comprehensive suite of sales training programs, including strategic selling, negotiation, account planning, and sales management, to C-level executives and sales leaders.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Pipeline Development: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outbound efforts, leveraging internal lead generation resources, marketing campaigns, and industry events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Sales Operations, and Delivery) to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful execution of training programs.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and new opportunities within the sales training landscape to position our solutions effectively.
- Performance Management: Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth.
Key Attributes and Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Experience: 3-5 years of consultative sales experience, preferably in the B2B sales training, consulting, or SaaS space.
- Strong Business Acumen: Ability to understand complex business challenges and articulate how our solutions can address those challenges.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals with senior decision-makers, including multiple President’s Trip and Circle of Excellence Awards
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage and track sales activity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the sales training or performance improvement industry, including familiarity with leading sales methodologies.
- Knowledge of sales technology and enablement tools.
