This position is fully remote.

The Grammy’s, the FedEx Open, the BET Awards, and over 200,000 weddings are examples of the events we help small businesses curate. We provide small business owners worldwide with hundreds of thousands of hours back by building an ERP for small businesses.

Curate develops a SaaS platform that automates the tedious parts of event planning. Florists, caterers, wedding coordinators, and corporate party planners rely on us to deliver flawless experiences every day. Our software simplifies organizing event information, creating beautiful proposals, accurate recipes, and streamlined wholesale orders—saving time and increasing profitability.

We are seeking driven and ambitious Account Executives to join our rapidly growing team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and positive attitude to generate new business for the Curate platform. No extensive experience is necessary, but a desire to grow and help small business owners solve significant problems is essential. This role is remote and reports to the VP of Sales.

OTE is $95,600 per year ($53,600 base pay plus commission).

What You’ll Do:
  1. Respond to inbound leads addressing current business pain points.
  2. Conduct consultation meetings with SMB executives to identify opportunities for both Curate and the customer.
  3. Effectively communicate our value proposition and what makes Curate unique.
  4. Gather customer product feedback and relay it clearly to our product team, representing the voice of the customer.
  5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions to ensure proper follow-up.
  6. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to demo and closing.
  7. Become an industry expert, providing insights into valuable business strategies for event professionals.
  8. Meet and exceed revenue targets.
  9. Contribute to sales training, automation, account management, and strategy development for new products.
  10. Follow established guidelines, processes, and company principles.
What You’ll Bring:
  1. At least 1 year of relevant sales or consulting experience.
  2. A driven attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong time management, prioritization, and initiative skills.
  4. Experience with SaaS inbound sales to SMBs is preferred.
  5. A proven track record of performance against metrics.
  6. Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills via phone, email, and Zoom.
  7. Technical aptitude and ability to learn new products quickly.
  8. Knowledge of effective business development strategies.
  9. A passion for building new business.
  10. Willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
  11. Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
