Media Now Interactive (MNI), a division of Dotdash Meredith, offers customized advertising solutions. This position involves assessing market potential, meeting with local, regional, and national businesses in Nashville, TN, to understand their marketing needs, and developing relationships to grow the territory. The role requires proven sales experience, a marketing leadership mindset, and the ability to develop integrated advertising and marketing programs to meet client KPIs.

  • Develop and maintain your sales territory through brand building, business development, and advertising sales.
  • Understand MNI’s products and media solutions.
  • Build high-level client relationships and use a consultative approach to sell targeted marketing solutions.
  • Identify revenue opportunities with existing clients and agencies.
  • Manage ongoing client relationships, including performance reviews, educational events, and entertainment.
  • Update management regularly on sales pipeline, goals, and regional challenges.
  • Analyze client needs and develop strategies to address marketing pain points.
  • Exceed annual revenue goals.

Remote: This position is fully remote with minimal in-office requirements (possibly 1-2 times per year).

Essential Job Functions
  • Achieve revenue goals by selling advertising and digital solutions, maintaining client relationships, and assessing revenue potential.
  • Prospect new business through face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Develop integrated media plans collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Use industry information to approach advertisers effectively and provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide management with regular reports and maintain accurate records.
Minimum Qualifications
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven sales success with 3+ years’ experience; digital sales experience a plus.
  • Strong business development, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and sell media strategies to high-level clients.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of media sales tools and industry metrics.
  • Valid US driver’s license required.

Travel approximately 40%. Territory: Nashville, TN. Candidates should reside in the designated area.

Pay Range

$80,000 - $95,000 annually, with additional benefits and incentives.
