This is a remote, field-based position. The selected individual must reside in or near the designated metropolitan areas of Knoxville, Nashville, or Chattanooga.
Responsibilities:
- Manage equipment orders and revenue within the assigned geographic sales territory.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities within current customers and new prospects.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers within customer accounts.
- Conduct solution evaluations through presentations, demonstrations, and site visits in collaboration with the customer-facing team.
- Close sales orders on a quarterly basis.
- Develop accurate quarterly sales forecasts for the Zone Vice President.
- Maintain regular contact with customers and advocate for them throughout the product lifecycle.
- Call on all customer accounts within the territory and identify new opportunities.
- Partner with Project Management for successful installation of imaging equipment.
- Update sales opportunities and contacts using CMSU automated tools.
- Complete administrative tasks timely, including expenses and training.
- Develop market penetration strategies using competitive analysis and market research.
- Keep company sales tools (CRM) updated to reflect territory coverage and activity.
- Build effective relationships with customers, employees, and management.
- Create territory coverage plans for comprehensive account coverage.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
- Experience in consultative selling and closing large contracts.
- Experience with long sales cycles and working with sales quotas and forecasting.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging products and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in medical imaging or a related field.
