Job summary

HEARST STATIONS INC in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Sales Account Associate to assist the sales team with processing contracts, obtaining creative materials, and coordinating the launch of advertising campaigns.

This entry-level training program will develop you into a Sales Account Executive, with hands-on training in WideOrbit and other sales platforms, strong communication skills, and collaboration across sales, production and finance. In-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation abilities and client-facing composure.
• Proficient in Excel with complex spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to develop into a media sales executive within 10–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of sales proposals and client presentations.
• Create marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on active account executive requests.
• Coordinate communication with sales, production and finance teams.
• Enter and maintain orders, including WideOrbit workflows; maintain sales database.
