Job summary

East Side Arts Council seeks a Program Coordinator to manage afterschool and out-of-day youth art programs on the East Side of St. Paul. This role also handles artist contracts, supervision, and support for ESAC events and grants.

With a 30-hour workweek, salary based on $16.50 per hour, paid holidays, sick days and vacation, and reports to the Executive Director, this position offers hands-on community arts experience in a diverse urban setting.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating afterschool youth art programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Suite, Canva, and Mailchimp a plus.
• Strong communication with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate afterschool and out of day youth art programs.
• Create contracts for artists using ESAC approved forms.
• Hire and supervise artists.
• Coordinate summer Artmobile and free youth programs.
• Coordinate Seniors classes by Mailchimp, email, and phone.
• Order class supplies.
• Track program details for grants.
• Assist with grant reports and requests.
• Help develop new projects and ESAC events.
