Job summary

Mellow Mushroom is seeking a Pantry Cook to join a busy kitchen and support every station from Salad to Pizza. You’ll learn each line and have the team’s back during ToGo orders, training provided if needed. The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, kitchen hygiene, and a positive, collaborative vibe.

Experience is helpful, but we can train the right candidate who wants to learn. If you’re dependable, enjoy food, and fit the Mellow vibe, this could be the perfect crew for you.

Responsibilities

• Portion, prepare, and assemble menu items as requested.
• Follow cooking and plating procedures to ensure timely, fresh meals.
• Maintain food quality and presentation to Mellow standards.
• Set up stations with ingredients and equipment; assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Help maintain a sanitized, safe, and orderly kitchen environment.
• Monitor stock, replenish items, and place orders for shortages.
• Sustain a positive attitude while standing for long periods and lifting items.

You’re a hard worker, a food lover, and a solid teammate. As Pantry Cook for Mellow Mushroom, you’ll learn each line from Salad/Appetizer to Sandwich/Grill to Pizza/Expo. What’s more, you’ll have everyone’s back.

You aren't shy to jump in and help where needed. Whether its some additional prep items as needed or a crush of ToGo orders, you rise to the challenge of getting the job done and getting it done right. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Portion, prepare, and assemble menu items (Munchies, Greens and Sweets) as requested
• Possess a solid sense of timing; follow cooking and plating procedures to ensure each guest receives a timely, fresh meal
• Make sure food quality and presentation live up to Mellow standards; take pride in your work
• Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment; help kitchen staff when requested
• Help maintain a sanitized, safe, and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Monitor stock, refill necessary items, and place orders for shortages
• Be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting heavy items while keeping a positive attitude
