Job summary

Mellow Mushroom is seeking a friendly cashier who excels in guest hospitality and transaction experience. You will be the first and last point of contact, guiding customers through payments and delivering a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include handling payments with a smile, maintaining an accurate cash drawer, issuing receipts, resolving issues, and promoting menu items while upholding cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

• Handle and process all guest payments with a smile and a positive attitude
• Be organized and detail oriented; process credit cards accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer
• Issue cash receipts and refunds when necessary; handle and resolve customer complaints
• Know the menu; promote products and new menu items; remind customers of how amazing our food and drinks are
• Be dependable and punctual; take pride in your role and be a good team member
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation; the register area should reflect our high standards for cleanliness and safety
