Publix in Lakeland, FL is seeking a sanitation team member to maintain cleanliness of production areas and equipment. You will disassemble and reassemble equipment, apply chemicals, and ensure GMP-compliant practices across shifts.

The role requires lifting 30+ pounds, forklift operation, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 30 pounds frequently.

• Disassembling and cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling all detachable production equipment.
• Applying various chemicals on different equipment, as well as in environmental locations.
• Organizing and cleaning of kitchen, trash dock, and storage areas.
• Transporting racks, tubs, cardboard, and equipment to specified areas using forklift or pallet jack.
• Maintaining cleanliness of walls, vents, doors, drains, and garbage cans.
• Working with multiple departments to meet sanitation needs and coordinating air and water hoses.
• Rinsing out all empty drums and assisting with chemical storage area upkeep.
• Operating and maintaining floor scrubber and supporting housekeeping duties as needed.
