Job summary

A well-known steakhouse in Cheyenne, Wyoming is seeking a Salad Cook to prepare and manage the salad station in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food quality, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Experience is not necessary, as training will be provided. A Salad Cook will:

• Prepares or directs preparation of salads served using established production procedures and systems.
• Ensure that the salad station is fully stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift.
• Occasionally assist with the preparation and plating of desserts as needed.
• Follows proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.
• Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
• Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.
• Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
