Job summary

A high-volume steak house in Bozeman is looking for a Salad Cook. Responsibilities include preparing salads, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and assisting with desserts. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a commitment to guest-focused service. Experience is preferred but not required as training will be provided. Responsibilities

• Prepare salads and ensure salad station is organized and clean.
• Assist with dessert preparation as needed.

• Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.
• Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
• Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.
• Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.

A Salad Cook will:

• Prepares or directs preparation of salads served using established production procedures and systems.
• Ensure that the salad station is fully stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift.
• Occasionally assist with the preparation and plating of desserts as needed.
• Follows proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.
• Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
• Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.
• Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
