Job summary

The GIANT Company in Harrisburg is hiring for a Store Team Member focused on salad bar prep and customer service. You will prepare items for the salad bar, maintain freshness, and ensure food safety standards are followed.

Shifts start at the beginning of the shift with PPE checks; you'll receive, stock, clean surfaces, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters while supporting a safe, efficient store environment for customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and comply with policies/safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment/tools used in the job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for salad bar - cut fruit, set up salad bar, keep items stocked and fresh.
• Execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar.
• Review work schedule at start of shift and verify equipment/supplies; comply with PPE requirements.
• Receive, store, and stock items.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
