Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking an Associate Safety Trainer to support the Company Safety Program. You will conduct new hire safety orientations, oversee driver training, and coordinate with the EHS department to ensure compliance and effective learning across field teams.

Role requires strong communication, flexibility, and safe work practices. This position is on-site with Minnesota operations and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements preferred.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to present to groups of varying sizes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Team oriented and dependable.
• Proficient with computers; Google apps preferred.
• First aid/CPR/AED certified preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record; CDL-A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts New Hire Safety Orientation and Field Safety Training weekly and other safety-related training as needed.
• Reviews DriveCam footage to assess driver behavior and update records; attends coaching calls.
• Schedules, documents, and tracks employee training and operator qualification records.
• Monitors the LMS to ensure timely completion of training; coordinates with management.
• Conducts specialized equipment training and testing.
• Prepares employee-related documentation with HR and Safety leadership.
• Participates in audits initiated by regulatory entities.
• Travels as required; other duties as assigned.
