Job summary

CPG seeks a Safety Manager I to lead safety training development and delivery for field and facility teams in Tempe, AZ. You will ensure knowledge, skills, and competency for safe work, aligned with OSHA and NFPA standards and company policies.

You will develop materials, conduct evaluations, and maintain training records, collaborating with Safety, Operations, and HR to improve safety outcomes and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in safety training, safety management, or related field.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, NFPA 70E, and equipment operation requirements.
• Ability to conduct hands-on practical evaluations for lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, and scaffolds.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and digital training tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver instructor-led and virtual safety training courses.
• Conduct regulatory and company training including OSHA 10/30 Construction, NFPA 70E, Fall Protection, Confined Space.
• Create training materials such as presentations, manuals, quizzes, and hands-on evaluations.
• Ensure training content aligns with OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910 and NFPA standards.
• Maintain training records, rosters, and certifications; track compliance and expirations.
• Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and HR; onboard new hires with safety orientation.
