Job summary

Silgan is hiring a Safety and Training Coordinator in Tolleson, AZ to support training, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability at our manufacturing facility. You’ll coordinate training programs, conduct safety audits, investigate incidents, maintain compliance records, and partner with teams across the facility to keep a safe and productive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or workplace safety preferred.
• Ability to design, develop, and implement training programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor employee training and workplace safety programs.
• Coordinate online and in-person training and assist with onboarding.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Track and report safety incidents, lead investigations, and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain injury logs, safety reports, training records, and compliance documentation.
• Lead the site safety committee and promote safety awareness across the facility.
• Support environmental regulatory compliance and sustainability programs.
