Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises the LGSTX LMS and safety program implementation at assigned locations.
Competencies: Demonstrates the following skills and qualities:
Qualifications: To perform this role successfully, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, FAR, CFR 40 & 49, and applicable state regulations. Certifications such as DOT Haz Mat and RCRA are preferred.
Additional Skills: Ability to interpret safety documents, write reports, speak effectively, perform basic math, solve practical problems, and use Microsoft Office and LMS software.
Physical Demands: Regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, occasional climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity and other sensory requirements are also necessary.
Work Environment: Exposure to outdoor weather, mechanical parts, heights, fumes, electrical hazards, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
