Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Region Trainer to build a culture of safety excellence across sites. You will train new hires, deliver CMV driver safety programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations to reduce incidents and protect teams.

You will develop and manage training for HE/PIT programs, maintain records, and lead toolbox talks, field coaching, and audits. Strong communication, organizational, and safety knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety training and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DOT requirements for the waste industry.
• Ability to train others clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire safety orientation sessions.
• Deliver CMV driver training including pre-trip inspections and safe operating practices.
• Conduct OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance training for all roles.
• Develop and manage HE and Certified PIT training programs.
• Maintain training documentation and certifications for audits.
• Develop and measure training competencies through checks or similar methods.
• Facilitate daily toolbox talks and safety huddles with engaging messaging.
• Coach employees via field observations and ride-alongs.
• Identify training needs with operations and address trends.
• Support incident investigations with training insights and corrective actions.
• Assist with site health & safety inspections for compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
