Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. seeks a Region Trainer to build a culture of safety excellence across multiple sites. You will train CMV drivers, conduct OSHA/DOT compliance sessions, and develop qualified training programs to ensure regulatory alignment and driver competency.

The role requires coordinating with safety teams, maintaining records, and traveling between offices while supporting incidents investigations and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be able to train others in a clear, professional manner.
• Experience with DOT/OSHA regulations as they relate to waste hauling.
• 5+ years keeping detailed training records.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire safety orientation sessions for a safety-first mindset.
• Deliver CMV driver training including pre-trip inspections and safe operating practices.
• Conduct OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance training for operational roles.
• Maintain training documentation and certifications for audits.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and safety huddles daily.
