Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education and Training Specialist to develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive safety training for our construction operations. You will create materials, conduct onboarding, and measure learning outcomes to ensure regulatory compliance and site safety excellence.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT/EPA regulations, 3–10+ years in construction safety, and the ability to work in a high-demand environment with remote and on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 3–10+ years of experience in safety/health in construction preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new hires with Site safety orientation and drug testing procedures.
• Deliver tailored safety training using in-person, online, or blended formats.
• Create educational materials such as manuals, guides, presentations, and handouts.
• Evaluate training outcomes with Safety leadership and operations management.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and certification compliance.
• Facilitate on-site and online safety training sessions.
• Identify and mitigate risk; coordinate with leadership and operations on content needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop specialized training materials.
