Job summary

McGraw Kokosing seeks a Safety Education Trainer to develop, implement, and deliver safety education and training materials across projects in Ohio. You will create content aligned with the Company Safety and Health Management System, deliver onboarding, and manage programs to meet regulatory and client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in safety and health or equivalent, and 3–10+ years in construction safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 3 to 10+ years of safety/health experience in construction preferred.
• Proficient in developing training materials and using various learning platforms.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• New Hire and Site Safety Orientation: onboard new team members, conduct orientation content delivery.
• Training Program Management: execute safety training and educational content for projects, in-person or online.
• Educational Materials: develop manuals, guides, presentations, safety talks, and handouts.
• Evaluation: measure learning outcomes, gather feedback, and adjust training accordingly.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: maintain training records and generate reports on effectiveness.
• Training Delivery: facilitate on-site and online safety training.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: integrate risk strategies into programs and materials.
• Operational Coordination: work with safety leaders and site teams to tailor content.
• Technology Integration: leverage MS Office and Power BI to enhance learning materials.
