Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education and Training Specialist to develop, implement, and deliver safety training aligned with the Company Safety and Health Management System across project sites. You will update materials, conduct onboarding, and optimize learning outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in safety and health and 3–10+ years of safety experience in construction, with strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 3–10+ years of safety/health experience in construction preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA and related safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• New hire and site safety orientation delivery for onboarding.
• Manage and tailor safety training programs and materials.
• Develop manuals, guides, presentations, and safety talks.
• Collaborate with Safety leadership to measure learning outcomes and report on effectiveness.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and certification status.
• Deliver on-site and online training; support risk mitigation through education.
• Coordinate with operations management to develop content for specific needs.
• Utilize MS Office and multimedia tools to enhance learning communications.
