Job summary

McGraw Kokosing seeks a safety education and training specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive safety programs across project sites.

You will create educational materials, conduct onboarding, and evaluate training effectiveness while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies. The role requires strong communication and ability to work long hours in a high-production construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent with technical training and experience.
• 3+ to 10+ years of safety/health experience in construction preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DOT/EPA regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• New Hire and Site Safety Orientation: onboarding, drug testing, and orientation content delivery.
• Training Program Management: design and deliver safety training across sites, in-person or online.
• Educational Materials and Correspondence: create manuals, guides, presentations, and safety talks.
• Evaluation of Education and Training: measure learning outcomes and gather feedback for improvement.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: maintain training records and generate performance reports.
• Training Delivery: conduct on-site and online safety training sessions.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: integrate risk strategies into training materials.
• Operational Coordination: collaborate with safety leadership and operations to tailor content.
• Technology Integration: use multimedia and MS Office tools to enhance learning materials.
