Job summary

You will develop training programs, assess job skills, and identify safety needs, collaborating with HR on onboarding and adherence to regulations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in safety, OSHA experience, and strong reporting skills. Position offers full-time hours, exempt status, and a competitive salary in the Hawaii market.

Qualifications

• Experience as Safety Professional, Trainer or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of hazardous materials or practices.
• Experience producing data driven reports.
• Experience writing policies and procedures; culture of engagement.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• 5+ years in Safety is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement OSHA policies and programs.
• Plan and implement training programs.
• Develop job/technical skill assessments.
• Review training programs for engagement and retention.
• Ensure training materials are current and effective.
• Maintain knowledge of training methods and requirements.
• Conduct safety meetings with management and staff.
• Develop Emergency Preparedness Plan and reports.
• Work with HR on new employee safety onboarding.
• Train, manage and guide staff; KPI reporting to Sr. Leadership.
