Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000

Position Description:
We are expanding our Health and Safety Team to meet the needs of our growing workforce. Join a company where you can make a significant impact on our tradesperson-first approach to team care. Watts Electric is seeking a positive and motivated individual for the Safety Specialist position who is interested in growing with our company.

This position offers a combination of office and field duties, with time split between performing jobsite inspections, managing documentation, writing and reviewing plans, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, a collaborative approach to creating a safe work environment, and a desire to learn and grow. Travel across the Midwest will be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Associate Degree in Safety Management Program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2. No felony convictions and able to clear a high-security background check.
3. Able to clear drug and alcohol screening.
4. Valid operator’s license with good driving record.
5. Able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly (physical requirement).
6. Able to stand/kneel/bend on uneven surfaces for up to 12 hours per day (physical requirement).
7. Able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
8. Willing to work both indoors and outdoors on jobsites.
9. Available for overnight travel.
10. Must be 18 years of age or older.
11. Minimum Certification: ASP or OSHA 510.
