P1 Construction, LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist for our Lenexa, Kansas office. The role focuses on safety training, site orientations, and day-to-day safety oversight across construction sites. The candidate will work with contractors to maintain high safety standards in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include safety trainings, jobsite audits, and participation in safety meetings. We welcome candidates with CHST certification or those pursuing it, and a commitment to safety-first

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a full-time safety role.
• Construction safety experience preferred but not required.
• CHST certification preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must pass motor vehicle record check and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties

This position will be responsible for safety training, orientations, safety jobsite audits, contractor meetings, and day to day oversight of construction safety operations.

Position Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of work experience in a full-time safety role.
• Previous construction industry experience is preferred but not required.
• CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) Certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check. Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle. Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles. Both the candidate and the vehicle must be currently covered on a personal insurance policy.
