Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus directors on safety and security issues.
• Support Behavioral Threat Assessment processes.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure corrective actions.
• Track intruder audits for compliance and remediation.
• Provide staff safety and security training.
• Act as liaison between campuses and first responders.
• Assist in managing Campus Access Control Systems.
• Assist in procurement of campus monitoring systems.
• Provide information for the Texas Safety and Security Committee.
• Ensure compliance with TEA mandates.
• Attend Brand safety meetings and related discussions.

Job description

Provide logistical and operational support in the planning, implementation, and support of the Safety and Security Department. Typical responsibilities include: working with campuses to address security issues, provide security audits, threat assessment/analysis, along with providing operational readiness. Implementing required campus security mandates from Texas, Arkansas, Ohio, and other future states, acting as a liaison between our campuses and public safety, assisting campuses with the planning and completion of emergency drills, to include after-action reports. Other responsibilities will include interacting with vendors, and coordinating communications with other ResponsiveEd departments and campuses on matters of safety and security.

This role will be split 50/50 from the administration office in Lewisville, TX and Little Rock, Arkansas.

Education/Certification

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), or law enforcement, private security or military experience equivalence.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background screening.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a law enforcement, private security, or military field.
