Job summary

Adams and Associates seeks a Safety & Security Advisor for the Brunswick Job Corps Center. You will help maintain a safe living and working environment for students and staff, conduct center-wide security tours, supervise visitors, and respond to emergencies with sound judgment and respect.

A high school diploma is required, and an advanced degree is preferred. The role requires physical ability to lift 40 pounds and a valid in-state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise students; provide respectful, accountable supervision.
• Assist dorm staff with inspections and contraband searches as needed.

Conduct routine Center-wide security tours, take responsibility for Center security, visitor control, and student accountability, respond to emergency situations and requests, and maintain the security and cleanliness of Center facilities and property.Investigate & Prevent IncidentsInvestigate all accidents and incidents under the direction of management, preparing required reports and recommending corrective action within established timelines. Conduct and document routine safety inspections and assessments of Center equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards, and enforce occupational safety and health regulations and standards.Support Students & StaffAssist with monitoring and supervision of students, and provide high-quality supervision that positively influences student behavior with respect and accountability. Assist dorm staff with dorm inspections and contraband searches as needed, and provide residential, recreation, and transportation assistance as required.Model Standards & CollaborateFollow all integrity guidelines and ensure no manipulation of student data. Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
