Total Safety is seeking a Safety Supervisor to provide EH&S support for industrial and pipeline locations. The role focuses on safety audits, hazard recognition, and daily safety operations with a strong emphasis on field coaching and client communication.

The position emphasizes conducting safety observations, leading safety teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations across sites. The role may involve outdoor work, climbing, and various PPE requirements in diverse conditions.

Qualificações

• Thorough understanding of federal, state and local regulations; ability to recognize hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Computer literacy to communicate via email, prepare reports, incident reports, and to perform basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolds and elevated platforms; required PPE and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Allocate approximately 90% of time performing observations and safety audits.
• Perform periodic audits of Critical Behaviors, OD Audits, Safe Work Permits, LOTO and STAC tasks.
• Audit work activities to verify safe performance per SWP/LOTO/STAC documents.
• Conduct daily housekeeping audits to identify and correct hazards.
• Serve as single point of contact to customers and Total Safety representatives.
• Assist in development and management of safety technicians.
• Coordinate with EH&S representatives to complete tasks promptly.
• Communicate significant EH&S issues to client and Total Safety and suggest improvements.
• Provide support to shift/field supervisors on safety issues.
• Coach Operations/Contractor personnel on hazard awareness.
• Attend/conduct EH&S meetings and tailgate safety meetings.
• Document daily safety activities using the Safety Technician Activity Log and submit logs.
