Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Construction Safety Representative in Canton, OH for a 2-year 1099 contract. The role entails daily field safety oversight for civil construction crews, ensuring OSHA compliance, reviewing JHAs/AHAs, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Expect a long-term project with overtime on a 60-hour work week, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Saturday. The ideal candidate will have CHST/ASP/CSP or BCSP credentials, current CPR/First Aid/AED, and 5+ years of construction safety

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Construction Safety Representative

Location: Canton, OH | Duration: 2 Years (Start: 10/12) | Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr | Per Diem: None | Completion Bonus: $150/month | Pay Frequency: Weekly | Schedule: Monday-Saturday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM | 60 Hours Per Week | Additional Schedule Details: Long-term project with consistent overtime opportunities supporting early-phase site development activities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
